Four Foxhounds 4 Four Foxhounds
This hound portrait study of four Blackmore and Sparkford Vale foxhounds - 'Domino', 'Boxer', 'Bodkin' and 'Dormouse', was commissioned by the kennel huntsman, Chris Bowld as a surprise 21st birthday present for his daughter. They were all walked by her at the kennels, and proved to be good working hounds.

Ann was commissioned to paint this greyhound for his owner who had re-homed him after retirement from the track. This was given by the family as a surprise seventieth birthday gift.

Chestnut Gelding 3 Chestnut Gelding
In this commissioned study of a chestnut gelding Ann has portrayed his head in a characteristic pose. The pencil sketches depict him competing and relaxing with his owner trotting through the sand dunes on the Norfolk coast.
